Raised deck and stair run completed by Global Construction Homes
Founded 2020 · Brampton, Ontario

Global Construction Homes is a licensed and insured renovation contractor founded by Angrej Singh, working out of 35 Malta Ave. #12 in Brampton. We cover the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Guelph and Kitchener, delivering five trades under one contract — with WSIB coverage, free in-home estimates and a written workmanship warranty on every project.

Our story

Started because too many renovations were being run badly.

Angrej Singh started Global Construction Homes in 2020 after years on GTA job sites watching the same failures repeat: quotes that moved, trades that blamed each other, permits skipped to save a fortnight, and homeowners left holding a half-finished basement and an insurance problem.

The fix was not complicated. Put one team on the whole job. Price it properly the first time. Pull the permit. Photograph the work daily so the homeowner never has to ask. Do not call it finished until they say it is. That is the entire operating model, and it is why most of our work now comes from referrals.

Five years in, we have built legal basement apartments through Brampton and Scarborough, opened up main floors in North York and Mississauga, laid white oak and large-format porcelain across Oakville and Vaughan, and built decks that have held level through Ontario winters because the footings went below the frost line the first time.

We speak English, Punjabi and Hindi on site. It matters more than people expect — renovation decisions are usually made by a whole family, and everyone in the room deserves to ask questions in the language they think in.

“A permit costs less than a failed inspection, a denied insurance claim, or a stop-work order. That is not a sales line — it is arithmetic.”

What we commit to

01

We quote what we can prove

No estimate leaves our hands without someone standing in the room first. Ceiling height gets measured at the lowest duct, panels get opened, grade gets checked. A number built on assumptions is not a quote — it is a guess that becomes an argument.

02

We build to code, not to budget

If a job needs a permit, it gets a permit. If a beam needs engineering, it gets engineered. We have walked away from work where the homeowner wanted it done quietly, because a basement that cannot be insured is not a saving.

03

We finish what we start

Our crews do not leave for the next job while yours is open. The deficiency list gets closed, the site gets cleaned, and you sign off room by room before we hand over the warranty.

How we run a job

01

One contract, every trade

Framing, electrical coordination, plumbing, drywall, tile, flooring, paint and finish carpentry are all delivered by one accountable team. You never chase five separate trades or absorb the gaps between them.

02

Permit-first on structural work

Legal basements, load-bearing changes and raised decks are drawn, submitted and inspected properly. A permit costs less than a failed inspection, an insurance denial or a stop-work order.

03

Fixed scope, no moving numbers

Your quote lists materials, allowances and exclusions in plain language. Change orders are priced and signed before anyone picks up a tool, so the final invoice matches the number you agreed to.

04

Your home stays livable

Dust walls, floor protection, daily cleanup and a locked-down work zone. Most of our clients stay in their homes for the entire renovation.

05

Site photos every single day

You get a daily photo update and a running schedule, whether you are at work, out of province, or managing the property remotely.

06

Finished means finished

We do not leave for the next job until the deficiency list is closed, the site is spotless and you have signed off on every room.

How it works

Five stages, each with a defined output. You always know what is happening, what happens next, and what it costs before it starts.

  1. 01

    Free in-home estimate

    45 — 90 minutes

We come to the house, measure the space, check the things that actually decide the price — ceiling height, panel capacity, joist direction, drainage, grade — and talk through what you want the room to do. No sales pitch, no obligation, no charge.

    • On-site measure and photo survey
    • Structural and services check
    • Honest feasibility answer, including when the answer is no
  2. 02

    Fixed-scope written quote

    2 — 5 days

You receive a line-by-line quote: demolition, structural, rough-ins, materials with named allowances, finishes, labour and cleanup. Exclusions are written down as clearly as inclusions, so there is nothing to argue about later.

    • Itemised pricing in plain language
    • Material allowances stated in dollars
    • Written exclusions and assumptions
  3. 03

    Design, drawings & permits

    1 — 12 weeks

Where the work needs a permit — legal basements, structural changes, raised decks — we prepare the drawings, submit to your municipality, respond to plan-review comments and carry the file through to approval. You do not stand in a line at City Hall.

    • Permit drawings and site plan
    • Municipal submission and plan-review responses
    • Conservation authority and heritage review where required
  4. 04

    Build

    1 week — 7 months

Dust walls up, floors protected, work zone isolated. One crew, one schedule, one point of contact. You get a photo update at the end of every working day and a running schedule you can actually plan around.

    • Daily photo updates and progress schedule
    • Dust containment and daily site cleanup
    • Change orders priced and signed before any extra work
  5. 05

    Inspection, handover & warranty

    1 — 4 weeks

We call every inspection, close the permit, walk the entire project with you and clear the deficiency list before we leave. You receive the closed permit, ESA certificate where applicable, registration paperwork and your written workmanship warranty.

    • All municipal and ESA inspections called and passed
    • Joint walkthrough and deficiency list closed
    • Signed written workmanship warranty
